Operations Instructions: To Lock/Arm the vehicle: Press the Lock button on the remote. The lights will flash once, the siren/horn will chirp once, and the doors will lock. The system will arm. To Unlock/Unarm the vehicle: Press the Unlock button on the remote. The lights will flash twice, the siren/horn will chirp twice, the doors will unlock. The system will disarm. FAQ Can I install this system myself, and what tools do I need? Yes, you can do it yourself if you are mechanically inclined, with the help of a wiring chart for your specific model, common tools, probe light tester or voltmeter and electrical tape. However, we recommend professional installation if you are not sure. What wires do I need to find to complete this installation? You will need to find the following wires: +12V Power Constant, +12V Power Switched, -12V Ground, Lock / Unlock, Hazard Lights, Door Trigger, Hood / Trunk Trigger (if available) and Trunk Release (if available). All units come with a General Installation Manual for any make and model. However, you are responsible to get the wiring chart for your specific vehicle. Again, we recommend professional installation if you are not sure. How long does it take to complete the installation process? The installation time will depend on your skill level. It can be done anywhere between 2 hours, if you have all the tools and wiring chart for your car, up to 4 hours. How can I find out if this system will work on my vehicle before I buy it? This system will work on All Makes and Models with power door locks. Make sure you can lock and unlock ALL doors from the driver’s door or the trunk. Before you purchase this item, you will need to get the wiring chart for your specific model. Once you have the wiring chart, you will need to verify the polarity of your door locks. This system will work on the following door lock types: Positive Door Locks 0.5sec. Negative Door Locks 0.5sec. Vacuum Door Locks 3.5sec. Reverse Polarity Door Locks. Single Wire Door Locks (Extra Parts Needed). 5-Wire Door Locks. Please note that some vehicles may need Extra Parts in order for it to work on your vehicle.
